Sophie Mahood is a Brisbane-based actress/creative and a 2015 graduate of the New York Film Academy (NYFA). Sophie’s first love was of theatre where she was involved in a myriad of acting styles ranging from Greek theatre to Shakespearean to Brechtian. Since, she has advanced into Film and Television, where she has had the pleasure of portraying a number of different dramatic roles in various exciting projects. Sophie Received a nomination for best actress in her recent portrayal of Stephanie in the short film ‘Game Day’ which took out first place in the 48 Hour Film Project.
